Sticky pork
Delicious Asian-style main dish of sticky pork with wilted gai lan.
Ingredients
- 600 gram pork neck cut into 2cm pieces
- 2 tablespoon hoisin sauce
- 2 tablespoon dark soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 tablespoon light brown sugar
- 2 teaspoon dry sherry
- 1 teaspoon chinese five spice
- 3 clove garlic crushed
- 2 tablespoon peanut oil
- 350 gram gai lan chopped coarsely
- 4 green onions cut into 4cm lengths
- 1 lime cut into wedges
Instructions
- Combine pork, sauces, honey, sugar, sherry, five spice and garlic in a medium bowl.
- 2 Heat oil in a wok over high heat; stir-fry pork, in batches, until browned all over. Return all pork to wok; stir-fry until pork is cooked. Add gai lan; stir-fry until wilted. Remove from heat; stir in green onion.
- 3 Season to taste. Serve with lime wedges.
